Snow Prediction

We did a school wide snow prediction. The students predicted
when Robinson would receive its first snowfall. Students
graphed their prediction on large calendars for
November, December, and January.

Robinson had its first measurable snowfall on Nov. 16th.

Fire Safety

The students learned the importance of fire safety. 
Thank you Robinson Fire Department for reminding us to call 911 for emergencies, to stop, drop and roll if our clothes are on fire, and to never play with fire.

Popping Popcorn

Popping Popcorn

After reading about where corn comes from the class popped popcorn.

The students were excited to see the corn pop.

 Many students had only seen microwave popcorn and were very excited to see the kernels pop.

 Waiting for the best part--eating it!!!
